More Freedoms, Less Government
My name is Jack Reynolds, and I am running for the Texas State Legislature. As a proud conservative, I am committed to fighting for our values and ensuring that Texas remains a strong, independent state. I am running because I believe in smaller government, lower taxes, and securing our borders.
As your representative, my top 3 priorities will be:
- Eliminating property taxes. Property taxes are the district’s beating heart issue—Fort Worth homeowners see 10-15% appraisal jumps yearly, and Azle retirees are cash-strapped (Tarrant Appraisal District trends). Geren’s 2023 HB 2 cut didn’t stop the bleeding—voters want relief, not nibbles. Geren is your tax status quo, I am your slash and cap rep!
- Secure our border. District 99’s GOP base (87% hardline in primaries) demands a locked border—Colony Ridge’s crime (drugs, murder) an hour east and Brownsville’s cartel spillover hit close. Geren’s vague “funding” flops—voters want action, not dollars thrown around.
- Stronger Public Safety Protections. Local crime—car thefts, burglaries, drugs—spikes in Fort Worth (FBI stats show Tarrant County up 5% yearly), and Saginaw/Azle feel it too. Colony Ridge ties to Geren’s border fail, but urban voters want cops on streets, not just borders. Geren’s done zilch—25 years, no tougher laws or enforcement push.
